Each Fall, ROR CO hosts its Benefit Breakfast at the beautiful Denver Botanic Gardens. The event features a menu of ham and green eggs as well as entertainment provided by local celebrities (Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper has participated every year!) reading a parody of the Dr. Seuss classic. Our signature event and the hottest ticket in town each October, this sellout event is our largest fundraiser of the year.

2009 6th Annual Benefit Breakfast

Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper (marking his 6th appearance as a reader) and Colorado First Lady Jeannie Ritter (in her third appearance) entertained the crowd with their hilarious rendition of this year's parody, "Green Eggs and Hamlet". Thanks to the generosity of the breakfast event sponsors, 100% of donations will go toward buying new books for children in the ROR CO program.
