What Are People Saying About Reach Out and Read®?

“While working as an outreach librarian for eight years, it was always frustrating to me that it was so difficult to reach those parents who did not come into the libraries for programs or materials.  When I started to volunteer for Reach Out and Read, I realized that this was a perfect avenue to access families in the underserved populations librarians are trying to reach.”
